This could certainly turn into a novel if I wanted to divulge everything, but I’ll stick to the basics and the emotional support for today.
I feel like I had a pretty decent high school experience. Generally speaking, I was happy, had friends, played sports, was involved with my community and church and even loved my job as a lifeguard.
However, you and I both know that we feel ALL the feels when we’re in high school. And not just high school either, it starts back in kindergarten and continues throughout our adulthood. That’s why I wish I had oils when I was in high school – it would have aided my emotional foundation, that would have continued through life.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to suggest that things were bad for me by any means, but I was a kid in a foreign country (Japan), a female going through “the change,” and I had my fair share of emotional roller coasters. I had amazing friends, but it’s not like they never hurt me or me them for that matter. I had a ridiculously long-term relationship (4 years), but it’s not like he didn’t break my heart on more than one occasion. I had all the negative emotions - heartache, sadness, loneliness, grief, sorrow, anger, annoyance, etc. I had plenty of the good emotions too, but for today I’m going to say I wish I had oils when I was in high school to help give me the tools to overcome any emotion that popped in for a visit.
That’s where doTERRA’s emotional oils come into play. These amazing gems are blended just right to help you tackle the twists and turns that life and our silly emotions can throw at us.
These are the 6 blends in the emotional oil blend line:
doTERRA Cheer® Touch
doTERRA Console® Touch
doTERRA Forgive® Touch
doTERRA Motivate® Touch
doTERRA Passion® Touch
doTERRA Peace® TouchEach possessing a unique blend of oils to empower you to take control of the given situation. I’m saying an oil alone can get you through the darkness, but they certainly can help, if (and when) you lean on them. It's a great start to learning that we can take control over the wide range of emotions that we can feel.
Here’s a tool that helps you to know which oil would be appropriate for a given situation. I'd like to give you an example of how I use these today, so you'll have a better understanding of what I'm talking about. CONSOLE: my beautiful cousin died in her mid-30's unexpectedly, leaving behind a 16 year old. I used to be an overly emotional person anyway, but I dreaded the funeral, for more than the obvious reasons. That being said, I put Console on my wrists and over my heart. I also brought it inside the church and would put it on my tissue (mostly so that I wouldn't look like a crazy person sniffing a bottle). It worked beyond my expectations. Not to say I didn't cry, but I was able to contain myself - it wasn't an ugly cry at least. And after the ceremony I was able to talk to people, including her parents, sister and daughter - giving me ther strength to support them, insisted of making things worse.
CHEER, MOTIVATE and PASSION I use on the regular at work. Oftentimes picking an oil in the morning before I've started my day, just based on smell and whatever I'm "seeking" to get out of the day.
FORGIVE and PEACE are sadly coming up for me and my family lately due to another school shooting. This one hit very close to home and several friends of our son (and our family) go to the school involved. The community is right next door to our home and my son even plays lacrosse for the city that it happened in.
Like I mentioned earlier, these oils aren't going to take the darkness away or miraculously make you a rockstar at work, but they will help pull you through. They can help to keep those emotions in check and not allow you or a loved one get swallowed up in a negative space.
If you would like to learn more about each oil, how you can use them or how specifically they’ve helped me and my family, you can check out the emotional aromatherapy kit or contact me, I would love to help you.
