Holiday Room Spray
This two simple DIY Holiday Room Sprays are inviting, uplifting, and will make your friends and family feel welcome in your home.
Ingredients
15 drops Frankincense oil
15 drops Grapefruit oil
30 drops Douglas Fir oil
2oz Witch Hazel
2oz Distilled Water
Deck the Halls Room Spray
Ingredients
10 drops Frankincense oil
10 drops Cedarwood oil
15 drops Peppermint oil
2oz Witch Hazel
2oz Distilled Water
Instructions
- In a 4oz glass spray bottle, add 2oz Witch Hazel, essential oils and top off with water.
- To use, shake the bottle, then spray.
Pro Tips - If you don't have Witch Hazel try a cheap vodka, both help to suspend the aroma in the air longer. If you don't have either simply use 4oz of water.
Bath Salt Ornaments
This DIY lets you disguise an aromatherapy Epsom salt bath treatment as a festive Christmas ornament. When it's not decorating the tree, this ornament can double as a luxurious addition to a warm bath.
Ingredients
Round ornaments
1 cup Epsom salt (you may need more or less depending on the size of your ornament)
5–10 drops of your favorite essential oil
Instructions
- Mix desired amount of Epsom salt in bowl.
- Add the essential oils of your choice (and dried herbs/flowers if desired). Mix well.
- Add the bath salt to plastic ornament to desired level.
- When ready to use, add desired amount of mixture to a warm bath.
Pro Tips - You can customize the color and aroma of each ornament for everyone on your Christmas list. Mix skin-safe colorant in with the Epsom salt. Class it up by adding dried herbs or flower petals.
Gingerbread Bath Bombs and Scrub
These two DIYs make a great and easy gift. Enjoy the warming and spicy aroma of Cinnamon and Ginger together in this gingerbread scrub and bath bomb combo.

½ c Fractionated Coconut Oil
5 drops Cinnamon Bark oil
5 drops Ginger oil
1 tsp Vanilla Extract or 2 drops Vanilla oil
½ tsp Nutmeg
½ tsp Allspice
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl until combined.
- Store in an airtight container.
- To use, massage over skin for 30 seconds or until sugar dissolves, then rinse with warm water and pat skin dry.
Gingerbread Bath Bombs
Ingredients
½ c Baking Soda
¼ c Epsom Salt
¼ c Citric Acid
½ tsp Nutmeg
½ tsp Allspice
2 tsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
1 tsp Vanilla Extract or 2 drops Vanilla oil
½ tsp Molasses
5 drops Cinnamon Bark oil
5 drops Ginger oil
Instructions
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine wet ingredients and mix.
- Mix to combine wet and dry ingredients, mixture should be relatively dry but still moldable.
- Pack mixture into molds and allow to dry for at least 24 hours before removing.
- Store in a dry place until use.
Pro Tips - If the mixture is too moist the bath bombs will lose their fizziness, so spritz with water carefully if the mixture is too dry to hold shape.
