When an individual feels overwhelmed, their body can respond with physical symptoms, such as increased heart rate, tightness in the chest, difficulty breathing, sweating, shaking, and feeling faint. These physical reactions can be indicative of an anxiety or panic attack. Other physical reactions can include headaches, stomachaches, fatigue, and even insomnia. And you know not sleeping can throw you into a catch 22 of lots of other issues. These physical symptoms can be accompanied by mental and emotional symptoms, such as feeling depressed, out of control, helpless, and unable to concentrate.
