Winter Wellness Reset: Simple Ways to Support Your Body, Mind & Home
Winter has a way of slowing us down—inviting us to rest, reflect, and take a deeper look at what our bodies and minds truly need. After a busy fall and the start of holiday stress, many of us feel a little depleted, scattered, or overwhelmed. A winter wellness reset isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what’s nourishing—the simple, grounded habits that help you feel clear, supported, and energized through the colder months.
This guide shares holistic, natural ways to support your body, mind, and home, along with easy essential oil rituals that fit beautifully into December’s rhythm.

NOURISH YOUR BODY WITH KINDNESS
Cold weather puts extra strain on your immune system, digestion, and energy levels, making winter the perfect season to return to basics.
Hydrate first thing in the morning.
Even mild dehydration can make you feel fatigued, foggy, and hungrier than you actually are. A simple start to your day can be with warm lemon water to support digestion and gently wake up your system. I personally prefer Lemon essential oil because it doesn’t spoil and doesn’t contain any acidity – no worries with your tooth enamel.
Focus on warm, grounding foods.
Your body craves nourishment that stabilizes energy and soothes your nervous system.
Think:
- Winter vegetables like sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, and beets
- Bone broth or veggie broth
- Herbal teas
- Warming spices like ginger, cinnamon, and clove
These foods help support immunity, digestive balance, and steady blood sugar—cornerstones of winter wellness.
Support your immune system naturally.
This is the season to double down on foundational support. A few of your everyday allies include:
- On Guard® Protective Blend for immune protection
- Frankincense for cellular support and inflammation balance + so much more
- PB Restore ProBiome Complex to reset gut health
- EO Mega+ Essential Oil Omega Complex to support a healthy nervous system, respiratory system and cognitive function
- VMG+ Whole Food Nutrient Complex a redefined daily multivitamin (that you drink) to support overall health and wellness (you can get the last 3 mentioned in a Foundational Wellness Bundle for some extra savings)
- MetaPWR line of products for energy, blood glucose support + turn back your biological clock and more
A strong immune system is the heart of a thriving winter.
CALM YOUR MIND & REDUCE SEASONAL STRESS
Winter can be peaceful, but it can also feel heavy—short days, long to-do lists, emotional exhaustion, and the swirl of holiday expectations.
Create a 2-minute stress reset.
Keep it simple.
- Rub Balance® on the bottoms of your feet or inhale Adaptive® in your palms.
- Take 3–5 slow, deep breaths.
- Drop your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and feel your body soften.
This activates the parasympathetic nervous system—your “rest and restore” mode—helping you release tension quickly.
Get gentle daily movement.
Movement doesn’t have to be big to be effective.
A few ideas:
- A 10-minute walk
- Light stretching (or an AromaStretch session with me to open the hips, back, and chest)
- 10 squats
- Mobility routines you can do from your couch
Movement nourishes your mind as much as your muscles, helping ease anxiety, winter blues, and mental fog.
Use scent to boost mood + emotional resilience.
If you’re getting my Tuesday Tips (via text) then you’re learning this month that aromas shape memory, energy, and emotion. Some of my favorite essential oils to diffuse in the winter months are: Holiday Joy, Holiday Peace, and any of the Firs - Siberian, Balsam or Douglass. These can help create feelings of joy, grounding, peace, and clarity.
Diffusing in the morning can anchor your energy (positively, of course) for the day.
REFRESH YOUR HOME FOR CLEARER ENERGY
Our environment impacts our mental well-being more than we realize. A winter wellness reset includes simple ways to refresh your space without overwhelming yourself.
Start with one small declutter.
Not a whole room—just one: drawer, nightstand, or bathroom shelf to start.
Small resets create big mental shifts. Clear space = clear energy.
Clean the air naturally.
Winter means closed windows, stale air, and less circulation. Diffusing essential oils supports both emotional and respiratory wellness.
I already shared some of my favorites specifically in the winter months, but here are a few more suggestions with air purification for the home in mind:
Your winter reset doesn’t need to be complicated. Wellness isn’t about striving—it’s about supporting your body, honoring your energy, and creating small rituals that help you feel grounded and at ease. As you move through December, choose one or two habits that feel doable, not overwhelming.
Drink more water. Diffuse something uplifting. Book a stretch session. Take a quiet walk.
small choices = BIG shifts
